At a time when the role of classical music in a changing society has to be redefined, Dirk Joeres feels a strong responsibility to actively care for its future. Being one of the few musicians able to verbalize musical processes and explain historical contexts, he initiated a multi-medial project called "KlassikSonntag!". This unique all-day format meanwhile enjoys cult status.
